FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?

We require a retainer of 50% at the time of booking and the remaining balance can be paid in any increments, at any time, up until 1 week before the wedding. The full balance must be paid 7 days prior to the wedding date. 

CAN I GET ALL THE FOOTAGE YOU SHOOT ON MY WEDDING DAY?

Absolutely. For an additional $300 clients have the option to all the footage captured on their wedding day. It usually amounts to hours of footage across multiple cameras. We will provide you with a 128 gb hard drive or flash drive with all the video and audio capture that day.

CAN YOU MAKE A TEASER VIDEO FOR MY WEDDING HIGHLIGHT?

Certainly! For clients who want to see the footage as soon as possible, we can provide you with a 1 minute teaser video within a week of your wedding. This extra option will add some extra cost to your investment, but is included in the Deluxe Package.

Do You Film Engagement sessions, proposals, save the dates or Rehearsal Parties?

Absolutely! We love capturing all the special moments that lead up to the biggest day of your life! Contact us today to request pricing and availability for your add-on’s.

What is your turn around time?

We understand that you are excited and eager to see what we at Blue Ridge Film Productions have mastered in providing a cinematic video capturing the biggest day of your life! We work diligently on your film to make sure you receive a top quality video. Depending on the business of the season it typically take 4-6 weeks to receive your product.


Can you hold my date?

Our event bookings are on a first-come-first-serve basis. We will only be able to book your date upon receipt of a signed contract and 50% deposit. If you have decided to book with us, we will hold your desired date for 7 days from when you receive the contract so you can review the details and return a signed copy along with your deposit.

CAN I UPLOAD THE VIDEOS TO SOCIAL MEDIA?

Absolutely! Once You receive your flash drive you can upload your special day on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Vimeo, and Instagram. There are your videos to share. We simply ask that you do not alter or re-edit the videos.

I'M NOT SURE I WANT THE FULL, STANDARD PACKAGE ARE THERE OTHER OPTIONS?

Depending on the popularity of the season, we can offer custom packages. Every single wedding video project we take on is customized to the client to a certain extent. rather you are just considering a ceremonial film or just a highlight. We also vary how many hours we film based on the wedding, ranging from just 2 all the way to 12 (in two hour increments). Every wedding is different! Contact us for more information.

Do You have Travel Fees

We currently do not request travel fees from our brides if the wedding location is within 60 miles of our studio hubs. We currently have studio hubs in Asheville, NC and Raleigh, NC.

DO YOU TRAVEL OUT OF STATE & Country?

Uhh HECK YEAH! We love to travel! You dream up the place and we will be there! Shoot me a message and lets plan your adventure!

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD, CAN YOUR EQUIPMENT HANDLE IT?

That's a tricky one. If it's raining, our audio equipment will be pretty useless and, as most electronics do, it hates the rain. For an outdoor wedding, bad weather may severely restrict our options and may reduce the number of cameras we can use by half. We'll make it work, but there will be compromises. 

WHAT IF MY WEDDING DATE IS MOVED?

The 50% retainer reserve your wedding date. If your date changes for some reason, we will certainly reschedule if we can, but other weddings may be already booked on the new date you want to use.

DO YOU OFFER DVDS?

We provide you the video files, which you can have made into DVDs! However, as very few of our clients request DVDs, it isn't standard in our packages. What we do provide is a video that is twice the quality a DVD can offer and a link to share it online with family and friends.
